How My Journey Began
Ross Varney is a Christian pastor who grew up in the Congregational church in New England where great music and warm hearts made a lasting impression. Shortly after college, he attended Princeton Theological Seminary and there met wonderful friends with diverse cultures and theologies, leading him into the world of ecumenical and interfaith community.
Music has always been a part of Ross’ life; he grew up in a home where music was always in the air, where all four children were expected to learn piano and at least one other instrument. In his teen years, Ross was drawn to spend time visiting elderly neighbors, which in retrospect was the beginning of a calling to a life of pastoral care.
Music and spiritual life were always a natural blend for me.
